Chongqing Adds RMB130M+ in Subsidies for Car/ Electric Bike Trade-ins

The Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce has issued the Notice on Allocating Additional Funds to Continue the 2025 Car and Electric Bicycle Trade-in Subsidy Policy.
The notice announced an additional budget of RMB135 million to support the subsidies for car and electric bicycle trade-ins in October 2025.
Specifically, RMB30 million will be allocated for car scrapping and upgrades, RMB100 million for car replacements and renewals, and RMB5 million for electric bicycle trade-ins.
